Rolf Tilmes is a Professor since 2004. He holds a degree in Business Administration from EBS and a Master of Management degree form the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. In 1999 he received his doctoral degree at EBS with research on Financial Planning in Private Banking. Since 2007 he holds the Endowed Chair for Private Finance and Wealth Management, which is the corner stone of the PFI Private Finance Institute. Since January 2008, he also serves as Head of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Real Estate. Additionally, he was CEO of the EBS Executive Education GmbH, the executive education division of EBS. Besides his academic career, he is a member of the Board of InsuranceCity AG, a multi-channel insurance broker in Frankfurt, which focuses on serving private clients and SMEs. Before joining InsuranceCity in August 2000, Rolf was a member of the Managing Board of Booz Allen & Hamilton, an international consulting company.
