1st Lufthansa Case Challenge (2010)

This year, the Lufthansa Case Challenge premiered with more than 130 team applications from all over the world.

In cooperation with EBS Business School, Deutsche Lufthansa AG invited students to participate in an international idea contest dealing with “Social media”. Students from different disciplines were asked to develop innovative concepts that demonstrate how social networks such as facebook or LinkedIn could be used to increase value for the customer and attract potential employees.

The top six teams were invited to the three-day finals at Lufthansa Training and Conference Center Seeheim. They presented their concepts to a jury of EBS professors, Lufthansa executives, and Head of facebook Germany.

Patron Thierry Antinori, Member of the Lufthansa German Airlines Board and responsible for  Marketing and Sales, was impressed by the variety of innovative ideas and implementation possibilities. The winner teams received flight tickets and vouchers for the Lufthansa Worldshop.
