Professorship of Strategic Management
Welcome to Strategic Management
The team of Prof. Dr. Ulrich Grimm addresses issues related to the general understanding of strategic management. In an increasingly turbulent environment it is essential for students to have a sound understanding of the concepts and tools that enable companies to address strategic challenges.
Teaching and research activities are concerned with the underlying theories of different strategic management approaches, tools for strategic analysis, strategy formulation and implementation, and evaluation of strategic actions. The application of relevant aspects from social sciences on current management topics, aiming for an interdisciplinary and multiparadigmatic approach is the focus.
Special areas of interest of the team within this professorship include systems theory, innovation management, mergers and acquisitions, strategic networks and business ethics.
