Professorship of Organizational Behavior

Starting in Spring Term 2009, Marjo-Riitta Diehl, PhD, joined the Department of Strategy, Organization and Leadership as Assistant Professor in Organizational Behavior. Marjo-Riitta Diehl has written her Doctoral Thesis at London School of Economics and Political Science and has worked as Assistant Professor at the Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration (Hanken) in Finland.

Broadly speaking, the field of organizational behavior (OB) focuses on the challenges of how organisations manage people. It investigates the impact that individuals, groups and structures have on behavior within organizations, for the purposes of applying such knowledge toward improving an organization’s effectiveness. At the EBS, we aim at strong research output, high standard of teaching quality and active engagement with practitioners in order to make both an academic and practice-orientated contribution in the field of OB.
