Coaching at EBS

Acting as the interface between EBS students and business professionals, generally speaking managers and human resource directors who take advantage of the opportunity to train as a "systemic coach" (EBS), the Coaching Department at EBS is dedicated to the issue of "personal development".

A win-win situation: Personal development for professionals and students

EBS Coaching programme is a personal development opportunity that is unmatched in the German higher education landscape. As an EBS alumnus you take part in an academically grounded training programme to qualify as a "systemic coach" (EBS). During the course you are able to apply your coaching expertise in real-life coaching talks with EBS students, thus achieving a win-win situation:

As a course member you are able to enhance your practical experience - and EBS students benefit from talks with their own personal coach.

As an EBS alumnus you therefore have the opportunity - whilst pursuing your own training and continuing education - to accompany today's students at EBS on their journey of professional and personal development.

Training to become a systemic coach

EBS Coaching programme is structured in two parts:  The basic course consists of four modules, which provide a fundamental understanding of coaching and the relevant tools, supplemented by supervision and peer group supervision.  In the consecutive certificate programme comprising a further four modules the role of target-oriented coaching in a corporate context is explored and practiced in role-play. Successful completion of the programme leads to an EBS certificate.

Take advantage of this opportunity:

  • Academically grounded training to become a coach
  • Direct transfer to practice
  • Chance to further enhance your own development in the areas of leadership, teamwork and conflict management
  • As an EBS alumnus you accompany today's students at EBS on their journey of professional and personal development
  • Become part of EBS coaching network and engage in an exchange with other professionals
